i don’t understand why all of the black people dont raise money for there bail if every black person put in two dollars across the country towards there bail they would make bail, and once there out we as black people have a responsibility to protect them as if they were are kids, once there out, we out to not let them go back in…. im looking at this situation as if it were me bieng tried we need to stop wearing t-shirts and actually do something thats going to help

You know that it is an shame in this day in age that everyone has so much hatred towards one another when our country is going through so much with the hurricanes our troops over there in Irag fighting for someone else freedom when our nation is in turmoil now.If someone who had hung an noose around an tree I would also take that as an threat,I thought that racism was buried but obviously it is still there and it is an shame teenagers are looking at 100yrs for an fight that took place everyone knows that this is about RACE.

This is the most slanted version I have read yet. Amy makes it sound like the DA and cops made the speech while the kids were under the tree. Everyone else says they were in an auditorium.

I live about 30 minutes from Jena, and this has been on the evening news for months. A lot of the background info shared in the article has not been publicized. I’m glad you posted the article. Hopefully, more people will read it.
